The City of Iola wants its own flag and wants citizens to help choose the design.
There are two flag designs to choose from. The first is the Clock Tower flag. It shows a clock that displays the time as 3:04, in reference to Kansas being the 34th state. The design is meant to honor tradition and be timeless and up lifting. The other design is the Land and Water flag. This design emphasizes agriculture, growth, and the waterways near Iola.
Residents can vote on their favorite design on the city's Facebook page by giving a like to their choice. The city's facebook page located at facebook.com/cityofiolakansas
