A second fire in ten days at a Grand Lake marina destroys a restaurant and yacht club.
The fire started around 5:30pm on Saturday. The Monkey Island Fire Department along with the Ketchum and Cleora Fire Departments responded to the call at Arrowhead Marina. Firefighters battled the blaze for several hours before they were able to bring it under control. The restaurant and yacht club were both a complete loss. Crews from Bernice Fire and Lakemont Shores Fire also helped battle the blaze.
This is the same marina where three boats caught fire on January 18th . In Saturday's fire, no boats were lost and no one was injured. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
