The victim of a hit-and-run accident in Joplin has died from her injuries.
The adult female victim was discovered early Monday evening near the intersection of 7th and Gray Avenue in Joplin. Authorities have not yet released her name as they attempt to notify next of kin. Joplin police are looking for the driver of a dark colored SUV with a missing headlight. Witnesses report the vehicle as being involved crash and fleeing the scene of the accident which occurred around 6pm on Monday evening.
