The Kansas Department of Transportation announces approved bids for state highway construction and maintenance projects.
Projects closer to home include grading and culvert work on K-99, just north of the K 99/U.S. 166B junction in Chautauqua County. Other projects include milling and overlay work on Highway 160 in Montgomery County, from the U.S. 169/U.S. 160 south junction east to the Montgomery/Labette county line, Highway 400 in Cherokee County, from the Labette/Cherokee county line east to the U.S. 400/K 7 junction, and milling and overlay on Highway 160 in Labette County, from the Montgomery/Labette county line east to the west U.S. 160/U.S. 59 junction.
