The Kansas Highway Patrol releases its Christmas Holiday Weekend Activity Report.
The reporting period ran from 6:00pm Friday, December 22nd through 11:59pm on Christmas. KHP personnel assisted 449 motorists over the reporting period. This includes working two non-DUI-related fatality crashes that had two fatalities.
The KHP had seven DUI arrests, which is down nine from 2022 and eight from 2021. This is also the third straight year there were no DUI-related crashes.
