Giving is the theme this holiday season for USD 506 students.

 

Bartlett Elementary School students in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade donated dog food, toys, and other supplies to the Proud Animals Lovers Shelter. The students had been collecting items for weeks and presented the donation to shelter volunteers, along with receiving a tour of the facility.

 

PALS completely runs off of donations and volunteers to serve as a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter.

 

This generous donation comes just one week after another group of USD 506 students, 5th graders in Hanna Haraughty's classroom, donated toys to the Toys for Tots drive in Altamont.
