An overcorrection is the likely cause of a cement truck accident yesterday morning in Galena.
The accident happened around 11:10 at the intersection of 27th and Main in Galena, when a southbound cement mixer truck left the road to the right, overcorrected and overturned.
The driver was not injured, though all lanes of the road were blocked for about three hours.
The roadway was reopened around 2:15 p.m.
