The Cherryvale Historical Museum is moving to a new building.

 At the beginning of 2024, board members and volunteers will transition from the former location at 215 East Fourth Street in Cherryvale, to their new building at 322 East Main--the former First Baptist Church and Fellowship Hall.

 The Museum Board says the move will bring the museum onto Main Street in a more visible and larger location, opposite the Public Library and Lincoln Elementary School. The museum thanks the First Baptist Church and look forward to preserving the 1902 Historic Baptist Church building to honor past and future generations.

 Begun in 1964, the Cherryvale Historical Museum board members and volunteers will spend the winter months repainting, packing archival materials, and moving. They encourage everyone to check the Cherryvale Historical Museum Facebook page for updates on the move.
