A high-speed crash in Joplin Friday night leads to the arrest of the driver.
Joplin Police say the accident happened around 11:30 Friday night at the 50th and South Main Street roundabout, when a Honda passenger car, traveling south on Main at speeds close to 100 miles per hour, ramped the roundabout.
The male driver was rushed to an area hospital, while an adult male passenger later received medical care.
The investigation is being conducted as a DWI crash. At least 4 signs were damaged and destroyed during the accident.
No names have been released as of yet; the investigation is ongoing.
