A new trash provider is being announced in Cedar Vale.

According to the city, Waste Connections will be the new provider for trash services. Trash service provided by Chautauqua county will conclude at the end of the month. Earlier this year, the county sent a letter to each city council regarding the discontinuation of trash service. More information will be available for Cedar Vale residents regarding the new service in the coming days. Rural customers who are interested in using Waste Connections will need to call 918-336-3161 to make arrangements for trash service.
