Coffeyville City Manager Bids Farewell To Commission, City

The Coffeyville City Commission says goodbye to a departing City Manager.

City Manager Mark Hall made a special presentation at last night's (Tuesday's) city commission meeting, entitled Coffeyville – Past, Present and Future, that examined the city's progress during his time in his current position. Hall told the commission that thing may look grim at the moment, but that Coffeyville is a good town, full of good people, so the future for the city looks bright, and that the people here are writing the story of the city's future.

City Commissioners also expressed their thanks for Hall's work. Vice-Mayor Robert York says Hall did many good things for the city that residents may not be aware of.

In other business at last night's (Tuesday's) meeting, commissioners approved funding for the city to purchase four new mowers, seven new tablets, and eleven sets of bunker gear for the Coffeyville Fire Department.

The next meeting will be a public hearing for the fiscal year 2023 budget amendments. That meeting will be held on December 26th , at 6:30pm in the Commission Room at City Hall and will also be broadcast live on the city's YouTube channel.
