As the end of 2023 approaches, so does the chance of cold weather.
To help those in need this winter season, Sherwin-Williams in Independence is holding a winter coat drive. Lisa Wilson from the Independence Chamber says this is a good time for people to clean out their closets and help people at the same time.
Items can be dropped off at Sherwin-Williams at 1802 West Main in Independence through next Friday (December 15th). Items will be given to Home Sweet Home Homeless Ministry, Hannah's House, and the Community Access Center.
