Home town Christmas decorations have a special place in the hearts of four state residents and the city of Miami, OK, is no different.

 The city has three, new, large replica Christmas balls decorating the downtown area. Miami Mayor Bless Parker says the decorations have a history in the city.

Parker says the damage to the ornaments was repaired by a local craftsman at a cost of $5,000 apiece. The city is currently raising funds to repair more of the historical decorations damaged in the 2007 flood. Parker says the ornaments hold a special significance for those who grew up in the city of Miami.
