Today will be a windy day in the four states.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory today from 10 a.m. through 6 p.m. for southeast Kansas, northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. Southwest Missouri is also included in the advisory from 9 a.m. through midnight. South winds between 25 and 30 miles per hour are expected with gusts up to 45 possible. Winds may make driving high-profile vehicles difficult. Extra attention to cross winds may be required on bridges and overpasses.
