Two suspects have been arrested in Elk County in connection to a series of burglaries that have plagued rural areas of the county over the past few months.

 The two suspects face a number of charges, including felony burglary, felony theft, Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal trespassing, and felony criminal damage to property.

Elk County Sheriff John Walker says his office appreciates the work done by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office for their help on the investigation.

The investigation is still ongoing and Walker says more information, including the names of the suspects, will be released at a later date.
