Residents of Sedan attend a special meeting to hear about new trash service.

 The city of Sedan held a special meeting yesterday (Monday) evening to meet with representatives from Waste Connections of Bartlesville about new trash services in the community.

John Siale of Waste Connections was on hand to answer questions. Many residents wanted to know about prices and pick up times.

Siale told the crowd that there would be differences for rural and city customers.

He explained to those in attendance that city customers would get one cart with weekly pickup, while rural customers would get two carts and pick up every other week. No decision was made at this meeting. The next Sedan City Council meeting will be held next Tuesday evening at 5:30pm.
