The Kansas Water Office's Neosho and Verdigris Regional Advisory Committees will meet today in Parsons to discuss current water issues in the region.
As the state's water office, the KWO conducts water planning, policy coordination and water marketing as well as facilitating public input on water issues. The agency also prepares the state water plan for water resource development, management, and conservation. Today's meeting will take place at 1pm at the Parsons Public Library at 311 South 17th Street in Parsons.
