Improvements at the Coffeyville Airport will be on full display this weekend.
A fly-in will be held tomorrow at the municipal airport from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Director of Airport Services Jarrod Powers says the purpose of the event is to invite the public into a space they might not normally visit.
Powers says visitors can of course drive in, but the first 10 pilots to fly in will be given a free lunch. For everyone else, lunch will be available for purchase from Pop Pop's Soda Shoppe. The airport is located in the Coffeyville Industrial Park at 2608 N 2nd Industrial Street.
