A Dewey man was in Washington County Court yesterday on a charge of domestic abuse in front of a child.

 26-year-old Bryan Hudson was arrested Monday after police responded to a domestic situation on the 300 block of North Oak Street. When police arrived, Hudson told them that the alleged victim was “acting crazy” and leaving him. Police noted the victim had bruising on her left eye and scratches along with markings on her neck and chest and was in visible distress. The victim said the markings happened in the last two days when Hudson allegedly pushed her. The victim also stated that their oldest child was in the garage where the alleged incident took place.

 Hudson says the victim injured herself to get him in trouble.

 Hudson was given a $5,000 bond with a court date set for November 1st.
