The Nowata County Commissioners met for their regularly scheduled Monday meeting and started off covering their normal bases. They started with an update on the courthouse walls. 

 It was reported that a contractor had been found to look at the walls and assess the issues with them. The contractor is working on a quote for the cost to repair but added the walls had to be fixed for health reasons.

The metal detectors were also delivered to the courthouse with one already being put to use, and another one still in limbo due to the ceiling being too low and the fact that it wouldn't fit in the elevator.

The commissioners next agreed to an interlocal agreement with the City of Wann to help with some maintenance issues in local areas. The agreement covers the taking care of some dead trees and street signs at the park in Wann.

The commissioners will meet again next Monday at the Nowata County Courthouse Annex.
