The William Inge Theater Festival's New Play Lab is accepting playwright applicants to have their scripts presented as readings as part of the festival.  The 7^th annual New Play Lab connects emerging playwrights with members of the national and regional theater Community during the 41^st annual William Inge Theatre Festival in Independence.

The selected New Play Lab playwrights will receive a professional staged reading of their play with an audience, feedback on their play, additional playwriting classes and seminars, opportunities to meet with theater professionals and VIP passes to all festival events. The William Inge Theater Festival is April 18^th through the 20^th.
