A Missouri woman is dead after a crash in Labette County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 78-year-old Nancy Davis of Marshfield Missouri was driving a 2015 Chevy Impala westbound on U.S. 400 about three miles east of Parsons. Around 2:45 p.m. on Friday, Davis crossed the center line and struck a semi-truck and trailer driven by 43-year-old Tracey Butler of Bartow, Florida. Davis was pronounced dead a the scene and next of kin has been notified. Butler was taken to Labette Health with a suspected minor injury. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts.
