Governor Kelly announces a major award for a Parsons business.

 Tank Connection of Parsons was awarded the Governor's Exporter of the Year Award last night as a part of the state Department of Commerce's Kansas Business Awards ceremony held in Wichita.

Nearly 300 businesses, organizations, and individuals were nominated in nine categories for their contributions to the state's economic success and their support of their local communities.

Tank Connection is the global leader in dry bulk and liquid storage systems and has multiple manufacturing facilities in southeast Kansas.

Governor Kelly says the Kansas economy is booming because of innovative businesses like Tank Connection.
