The Montgomery County Commission approves new radios for staff at the Montgomery County Jail.

 Chad Dunham from the Department of Corrections spoke at yesterday's county commission meeting about the need for the new equipment.

The commission approved four thousand dollars for the purchase of the new radios. In other business, commissioners heard a request for a letter of support for a new transportation initiative from the Community Health Center and accepted a bid for improvements to the Sycamore Rural Fire Station.
