The Oologah Marching Band took first place in the competition, followed by the bands of Oklahoma Union and Nowata. A total of ten bands took part of the competition.
CCC Band Director Dr. David Wiggins says it's a great opportunity for bands to not only be able to perform their routine in front of an audience, but with critiques given by Division One college band directors, it's a way to tighten up little details of their show as they get ready for competition season.
Plans are already underway for next year's competition.
