A Bartlesville man is arrested after a foot chase with the Caney Police Department.

Early this morning, a Caney PD officer was investigating an individual who had been going in and out of a local business a number of times. The officer determined the individual was stealing items from the store. At around 5:30am this morning, the individual returned to the store. The officer attempted to place the suspect under arrest but he pushed away and exited the store fleeing on foot. The officer pursued the suspect on foot catching up to him about three blocks away and placing him under arrest.

The suspect was identified as Aaron Nunn. During the arrest, Nunn was found to be in possession of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and some of the stolen items. He has recommended charges of possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia, theft, obstruction and battery of a law enforcement officer.
