South Coffeyville Schools are cleaning house.

Surplus items were declared at last night's monthly school board meeting. Non-working Chrome books and laptops were declared surplus in addition to some old football lights. Superintendent Daryl Pruter says he wants to see any surplus items continue to be used if possible.

In addition, a school activity bus was declared surplus because of age and ongoing battery and charging system issues. The board also approved a fundraiser for the junior high cheerleaders for warm-up suits.
