USD 445 receives recognition from the Kansas Can Star Program. This program recognizes success in the outcome measures Kansans told the Kansas Department of Education and the State Board of Education they value. Superintendent Dr. Craig Correll says they received stars in three categories.
In other business at this month's board meeting, Early Learning Center Principal Dr. Amanda Cavaness gave a presentation on Kindergarten Readiness. Assistant Superintendent Lora Stalford discussed Teacher Licensure. The board approved HVAC installation at the ELC gym, the purchase of accounting software and the purchase of a curriculum for Community Elementary.
