The Kansas Department of Transportation wants to hear from residents of southeast Kansas.

 KDOT will hold a local consult meeting in Iola on Thursday to give local residents the opportunity to voice their concerns about transportation issues in the area. This is one of nine meeting held across the state in October to give Kansans the chance to communicate their transportation priorities with state officials. The meeting will run from 9am until noon on Thursday at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center, located at 205 East Madison in Iola.
