A Friday morning car accident leaves a Ft. Scott woman injured.

 The accident occurred around 8:30 am Friday morning in the industrial area of Ft. Scott at Liberty Bell and Jayhawk Road. A 2014 Freightliner truck driven by 41 year old Joseph Allen of Ft. Scott was traveling southbound on on Liberty Bell when it failed to yield to oncoming traffic. The truck was struck on its passenger side by a 2017 Chevy Trax driven by 19 year old Jenna Stockstill also of Ft. Scott. Stockstill received suspected minor injuries and was taken to Via Christi hospital in Ft. Scott for treatment. Stockstill was not wearing a seatbelt. Allen was uninjured.
