A head-on collision on the Oklahoma-Missouri line claims the lives of both drivers.

 67 year old Harold Slatton of Neosho, Missouri, was driving a 2004 GMC pickup northbound on State Route Y near Quince Road when he crossed the center line. He struck a 2014 Toyota Prius driven by 58 year old Ronald Swem of Seneca, Missouri. Crews from Seneca City Fire, Seneca Rural Fire, Newton County Deputies, and Newton County Ambulance responded to the call. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The accident occurred around 5pm yesterday.
