At least one person is injured after a crash in Pittsburg.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 19-year-old Avery Sebastian of Park City was driving a 2009 Chevy Impala southbound near the intersection of U.S. 69 and Quincy Street in Pittsburg. Sebastian attempted to make a left turn onto Quincy, failed to yield and was struck by a 1988 Ford F-150 driven by 17-year-old Eugene Chapman of Pittsburg. Sebastian was taken to an area hospital with a suspected minor injury. Chapman had no apparent injury. Two minor passengers were also riding with Chapman and their condition is unknown. Neither driver was wearing a seat belt, and Chapman did not have proof of insurance.
