Step back into history this weekend in Coffeyville.

 Dalton Defenders Day happens this Friday and Saturday in Coffeyville. The celebration commemorates the citizens who lost their lives defending the city during the Dalton Gang's 1892 attempt to rob two banks during the day. Coffeyville Chamber president Candi Westbrook says you'll have several opportunities to catch the re-enactment this weekend.

Other Dalton Defenders Days events include gun safety demonstrations, live music, and Bingo on the Plaza.
