Springfield, Missouri, Police Seek Help From Public

 Police in Springfield, MO, are looking for help from the public in finding a driver wanted in a hit-and-run fatality.

 According to the Springfield Police Department, last Friday morning a white tractor trailer pulling a 52 foot box trailer was eastbound on a n access road and made a right turn to go onto the Kansas Expressway. As it turned, the trailer left the roadway and struck 51 year old Todd Tennison where he was sitting on the ground just off the roadway. The driver of the tractor trailer fled the scene. Tennison was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries on Sunday.

Police are looking for the driver of the tractor-trailer. The tractor is white with a sleeper and the number “274” on the front fender. The trailer is also white with the word “Wabash” on the rear and on the left mud flap. Anyone with information on the truck or driver should contact the Springfield Police Department at 417-874-2209.
