A Locust Grove woman falls asleep at the wheel in a single vehicle crash in Mayes County.

The injury collision happened on Friday at around 6:00am about four miles south and four miles west of Locust Grove. A 2005 Hyundai Sonata, driven by 59-year-old Donelda Anderson was westbound on East 600 Road. She fell asleep, departed the roadway to the right and rolled her vehicle coming to rest on the top in the road.

Anderson was transported by MESTA EMS to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa and admitted in stable condition with head, internal and external injuries.
