South Coffeyville was a busy place over the weekend, not only because of garage sales all over town, but mainly thanks to this year's Native American Unity Gathering.

Here's the sound of drummers performing as crowds filled the Native American Fellowship Grounds. Speakers, dancers and other performers from all over the Cherokee Nation entertained and informed those in attendance. Chief Chuck Hoskin also paid a visit in addition to Tribal Councilors Victoria Vasquez, Doria Smith-Patskowski and Johnny Jack Kidwell. Free food, crafts and vendors were also on hand. This year's event was the fourth annual Native American Unity Gathering.
