Kansans interested in the quality of state highways have a chance to make their voices heard.
The Kansas Department of Transportation is hosting a local consult meeting on October 12th in Iola. Attendees will be able to share their ideas about transportation priorities and hear about investments being made in transportation in southeast Kansas. This meeting is one of nine such meetings held across the state during the month of October and is a part of the Eisenhower Legacy Transportation Program – the state's 10 year transportation improvement program. The meeting is open to all area residents and runs from 9am to noon on October12 at the Bowlus Fine Arts Center in Iola.
