Residents of Independence needing to do business with the city will need to do so today or wait until Monday.
The City Hall in Indy will be closed tomorrow due to work on a generator that will require the building to be without power for several hours.
City offices have recently moved back into their old location in the 1916 city hall at the corner of Myrtle and 6th streets. City hall will reopen at that location at 8am on Monday morning.
