The Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Labette County Sheriff’s Office, and the Parsons Police Department arrests a man connected to the death of 28-year-old Kylie Caldwell.
Caldwell's body was discovered Sunday afternoon ½ mile west of the intersection of 20000 Road and Ness Road in rural Labette County.
Monday afternoon around 3:30, 53-year-old Derrick Curry, of Parsons, was arrested for attempting to conceal or destroy evidence of a crime. While he was incarcerated, search warrants were executed on Curry's Parsons apartment and vehicle by KBI agents and investigators.
Curry was arrested earlier today on charges of second-degree murder connected to the death of Kylie Caldwell.
Curry and Caldwell were acquaintances.
The investigation is ongoing.
