A Columbus man has been given four life sentences for convictions on multiple sexual charges dealing with a minor.
72-year-old John Clark was found guilty May 9th in Cherokee County District Court of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, aggravated criminal sodomy and two counts of rape. Court documents say the unlawful sexual acts involving a child took place between August of 2015 and May of 2017.
Clark, prosecuted by the Cherokee County Attorney's Office, is being held in the Cherokee County Jail pending transfer to the Kansas Department of Corrections.
