A siren test is coming up next week for the City of Coffeyville.
CVR Energy & CVR Partners have scheduled a community siren alarm test for next Wednesday, September 27th at 10:00am. The locations for the community siren are West of Linden Street between 4th Street & 5th Street, 1st Street and Maple Street. CVR Energy will conduct a drill of the emergency response plan in conjunction with the siren test.
The test date could change based on weather conditions. If there is a likely threat of severe weather during the scheduled test, the test will be postponed. CVR employees will be located throughout the community to evaluate the broadcast quality of the sirens.
