Kansas and Oklahoma Crop Reports Released

 

The latest crop forecasts are out for Kansas and Oklahoma.

 

According to the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service, this year's Kansas corn production is forecast at 677 million bushels, up 33% from last year. Oklahoma corn production is forecast at 49.4 million bushels, up 102% from the previous year. Sorghum for grain in Kansas is forecast at 208 million bushels, up 97% from 2022. Oklahoma sorghum production is forecast at 14.9 million bushels, up 158% from last year. Kansas soybean production is forecast at 128 million bushels, down 4% from last year. Oklahoma soybean production is forecast at 10.5 million bushels, up 60% from last year.
