Changes are coming to the Montgomery County Tag Office.
The Coffeyville branch is set to be closed temporarily starting next Monday. Montgomery County Treasurer Nancy Clubine made the announcement at today's county commission meeting.
Clubine says the temporary change is due to staffing shortages. There have been three resignations in the tag office and one more in the county treasurer's office in the past few weeks. Due to the need to train new staff, the tag office will open at 9am
Clubine also added that residents needing to process vehicle titles must be in line by 3pm so that staff will have enough time to assist them. These changes will begin on September 18th
