Local rock and metal bands will be showcased at a local event tomorrow.
The 4th Annual End of Summer Bash takes place at the My Place Event Grounds at 850 south Liberty street in Cherryvale. The concert will feature 10 bands from Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. In addition to the music, there will also be a cornhole tournament, registration is at 1pm and the tourney starts at 2. Food will be available from the Skinny Hen. This is an all-ages event, but alcohol will be served and the 21 drinking age will be strictly enforced. Gates open at 1pm and the concert starts at 2. Admission is $5 and children 6 and younger get in free.
