Bartlesville Man Held on Assault Charges in Stabbing Case

 A Bartlesville man made his second appearance in court this week on pending charges of aggravated assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

 Robert McGlothen is accused of stabbing the victim on the 1600 block of South West Elm street. According to an affidavit, an officer interviewed three separate witnesses that were in the area when the incident occurred.

Each witness stated that McGlothen stabbed the victim, and one told police that the man was stabbed on the left side of his body. They also told police that McGlothen dropped the weapon in a trashcan south of a residence.  McGlothen is currently being held on a $100,000 bond. The victim is recovering in a Tulsa Hospital.

The charges are pending in this case and McGlothen will appear in court again today.
