Government offices across the area are open again today following the long holiday weekend.
For most towns in Montgomery County , trash service resumes today as well except for Caney, which remains on the regular schedule. Your regular trash pick up day will be one day later than usual due to Labor Day. Also a reminder that city offices in Independence will be closed this Thursday and Friday as city government workers move back into the 1916 city hall building located at 6th and Myrtle.
