The 9/11 National Day of Service is coming up and RSVP Four County is looking to commemorate the day with a food drive. The purpose of the drive is to replenish the supplies food pantry at the Community Access Center. Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson says it's a great way to participate in the National Day of Service.

Any non perishable item will be accepted. Items can be dropped off at the following locations:

• G&W Foods, 416 W Myrtle
• Independence Chamber of Commerce, 616 N Penn
• VFW Post #1186, 113 E Maple
