A Crawford County car accident injures two people.

 The accident occurred just after 3pm yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon on U-S 69 at milepost 45.2 southbound or the intersection of U-S 69 and west South Street in Arma. A 2012 Chevy Silverado driven by 66 year old David J. Marrone of Frontenac, was traveling east on west South Street when it failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a 1991 Dodge Dynasty driven by 25 year old Emmah M. Dikeman of Fort Scott. Both Marrone and Dikeman were transported to Via Christi with suspected minor injuries, while a passenger in Marrone's vehicle, 70 year old Ruth L. Fleeman of Garland was uninjured.
