A one vehicle crash near Thayer injures an Independence man.

 At around 3:30 yesterday afternoon, a 2015 Toyota Camry driven by 30 year old Luciano R. Duran-Espino of Independence, was traveling north bound on Douglas Road about 3 miles south of Thayer when the vehicle veered to the left side of the roadway and struck a bridge coming to rest in the southbound ditch. Duran-Espino was taken to Wesley Medical Center with a suspected serious injury. No other details are available at this time.
