This year's corn crop has struggled in many central states.
That's according to USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey, who says as much as 1/5th of the corn crop in several states including Kansas is rated in poor condition.
Other Midwestern states not doing well include Nebraska and Minnesota. The ongoing drought has made a major impact on several crops.
